In-Home Training

You’ve survived a stroke, been diagnosed with MS or another neurological disease, sustained a spinal cord injury or had surgery.

You’re done with physical therapy, but you’re not where you want to be. Insurance won’t pay for more therapy, and gyms don’t meet your needs.

Rehab Strong is an innovative wellness company based out of the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area, that was developed to meet the needs of individuals with varying disabilities and diagnoses.

Rehab Strong provides one-on-one rehabilitation training in your home! We bring any equipment that we need to help you achieve your goals. Our Rehabilitation Professionals are not "Personal Trainers". The Rehab Strong team is made up of Exercise Physiologists, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in conjunction with Physiatrists, Neurologists and Orthopedic Surgeons. With your permission, we can even work with your personal physicians.

Don't just hire a Personal Trainer! Work with someone who knows how to work with YOU!

At Rehab Strong, we believe that limitations in progress are due to lack of creativity by the professional. We strive to be the number one choice of individuals and organizations looking for continued rehabilitation and education to help individuals achieve and maintain all of their needs and goals.

Rehab Strong starts where physical therapy left off!

TESTIMONIALS:

"Since working with Wes and Rehab Strong, I have gained the strength and range of motion to drive, sit unsupported, swim and even stand. Wes pushes me to different limits. If it weren't for the exercises and stretching, I wouldn't have progressed as well as I have."

"Based on my personal experience with Wes, I can unequivocally assert that the individualized service he provides will help many individuals with disabilities maintain-and in fact increase their independence. And you can't put a price tag on independence. In addition, the fact that he is able to make home visits creates additional options for those who find it difficult to get out of the house. Couple these factors with Wes's sensitivity and creativity and you have a service that cannot be duplicated."

"Wes has been coming to my house 3 days a week for close to 5 years. His stretching techniques have enabled me to reduce my leg spasms and pain. Although I am still in a wheelchair, if it weren't for Wes and Rehab Strong, I don't know where I'd be today."

"I was diagnosed with Post-Polio Syndrome in 1991. Wes has been instrumental in helping me achieve two goals: going out with my cane for social events (without my walker or crutches), a to climb stairs- a task that I haven't been able to do for over 10 years. Wes Norris is a complete professional that exhibits an incredible amount of talent, knowledge of exercise and body, compassion and encouragement."

"Until I met Wes, standing was pretty much a dream. Wes helped me achieve that goal and then some. I can now walk about 30 feet with a rollator walker. Wes's enthusiasm and ingenuity has made me realize that I am capable of doing more than I ever imagined I could."
